On 19th Feb, 2017, The Mumbai Kannada sangha organised Purundaradasa Aradhana mahotsav at The Mysore association Ganesh darbar. Among the several things, prize distribution to the students secured high percentage marks in SSC and HSC exams this year.
Sangha has been organising Purundaradasa Song contest for the children and elders as well. This year the the participants were 26, due to examination preparation, and City of Mumbai is having several cultural programs through out !
Shri Hemachandra ermal, along with kotyan sang the kirtanatas with rare numbers (nearly 11 of them)
After this Mahamangalarathi of Lord Ganesh and later Tirth prasad were distributed to he devotees present !
